《天黑》導演 張榮吉 的話:
透過一部紀錄片的拍攝,引發了我再發展的動機,於是撰寫本篇劇本,經由真實被攝者與演員的即興演出,去掉表演的痕跡,刺激更多的偶發性,在過去紀錄片的歷練中,學習對人物的觀察,至此轉化為角色的型塑,從生活出發,在原始素材的基礎上進行加工,透過文字的撰寫,掌握影片的架構,經由角色的發揮更添影片的生命,在風格形式上,大膽以手持攝影與演員、空間相生激盪,企圖以寫實基調處理,完成了劇情短片《天黑》。
I was motivated during the filming a documentary to write a script that can be performed by live actors, and through their improvised performance erased the trace of acting, and stimulated more spontaneity. My experiences in documentary nurtured my instincts in observing people which are then transformed into character studies. We started with daily life then add extra work in it through script-writing to form a structure for the film and have the actors’ performances to add life to the film. On the film style, we made the daring decision to do the whole film by hand-held to create chemistry between the actors and their spaces; and with a touch of realism, we have our true life fictional short “The end of the tunnel”
